Project Overview
ITDG completed a comprehensive tenant improvement for Tucson Window & Door, transforming a former mercantile warehouse — previously home to a Tres Amigos furniture store — into a high-end showroom and warehouse facility for their door and window products.
The scope of work included building out the entire interior from an open warehouse shell into a fully finished commercial space. ITDG constructed a welcoming reception area, private offices, a conference room, a full kitchen, and extensive showroom spaces designed to showcase Tucson Window & Door's complete product line. Multiple dedicated display areas were built to present doors, windows, sliding glass systems, and specialty products in realistic settings that help customers visualize installations in their own homes.
The finished facility features distinct showroom zones for different product categories — from entry doors and glass door systems to window displays and sliding door demonstrations — all connected by well-appointed hallways and visitor seating areas. The project also included HVAC installation, warehouse integration, and the infrastructure needed to support both the retail showroom and the adjacent warehouse operations.

How We Delivered
Project Objective
The building was an open warehouse shell with no interior buildout suitable for a customer-facing retail environment. Tucson Window & Door needed a space that could serve dual purposes: a high-end showroom that would impress residential and commercial customers, and a functional warehouse for inventory and operations. The challenge was creating a polished, inviting retail experience within an industrial building while maintaining efficient warehouse access and workflow.
Our Approach
ITDG designed and executed a full interior buildout from the slab up. Our crews framed and finished reception, office, conference, and kitchen spaces while constructing multiple showroom zones purpose-built for product display. Electrical teams installed showroom lighting designed to highlight product features. HVAC systems were installed to maintain comfortable conditions in the customer-facing areas while accommodating the open warehouse connection. The layout was carefully planned to guide visitors through the full product line while keeping warehouse operations accessible but separate.
