Project Overview
ITDG recently completed a new Starbucks location on Speedway in Tucson, demonstrating their expertise in developing complex projects. The process began with meticulous planning and coordination across various trades. For the civil work, ITDG focused on site preparation, which involved grading, excavation, and laying the foundational elements to ensure a stable and compliant structure.
Our in-house electrical team installed the necessary wiring and lighting, adhering to Starbucks’ specific design requirements and local codes. They ensured that all electrical systems, including outlets, lighting fixtures, and the drive-thru infrastructure, were operational and safe. Concurrently, the plumbing team tackled the installation of pipes, fixtures, and connections essential for the store’s restrooms, kitchen, and beverage stations, ensuring proper water flow and drainage.
Our HVAC team then set up the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to maintain a comfortable environment inside the store. This included installing ductwork, units, and controls to meet both efficiency standards and customer comfort. For the interior, the framing and drywall teams constructed the store’s layout, including partition walls and ceiling structures, followed by the drywall application to create smooth, paint-ready surfaces.
Finally, the painting crew applied the finishing touches, which involved selecting colors and textures that aligned with Starbucks’ brand aesthetics. This was followed by a final inspection to ensure that all systems were functioning correctly and that the overall build met quality standards. Through seamless integration of these various elements, ITDG delivered a well-coordinated and high-quality Starbucks location ready for operation, all within budget and the requested timeline.
