Project Overview
ITDG completed a comprehensive Property Improvement Plan for Homewood Suites by Hilton Reno in mid 2019. The 96-suite, four-floor extended-stay property at 5450 Kietzke Ln serves travelers near Reno-Tahoe International Airport and the greater Reno area.
The PIP included full renovations to guest suites—all with separate living and sleeping areas and full kitchens—and common areas: lobby and guest lobby spaces, breakfast area and breakfast bar (including the breakfast lobby with fireplace), indoor pool and spa, and outdoor seating. Work encompassed new finishes (flooring, paint, millwork), updated furnishings, and targeted electrical work to support new features. The property remained operational throughout the renovation, with minimal impact on extended-stay guests.

Project Objective
Executing a full PIP for an operating extended-stay hotel required renovating 96 suites and multiple common areas—lobby, breakfast, pool and spa, outdoor spaces—while meeting Homewood Suites brand standards and keeping the hotel open and bookable.
