Our company was highlighted in a news article on MyHeraldReview.com in relation to our work on the Hummingbird Senior Resort. We began working with Evening Tide Management in early 2022 to convert the old Windemere Hotel and Conference Center into the Hummingbird Senior Resort Assisted Living in Sierra Vista. Our teams worked together closely to plan the necessary steps to turn the old hotel into a new and fully functional multi-resident senior living facility.
Once completed, the facility opened with 70 rooms for assisted care living, 27 rooms for secure memory care, and 40 rooms for independent living. The new assisted living facility officially opened in mid 2023 and is already flourishing in what was previously a large unused hotel that had seen better days.
We’ve had the pleasure of working with the team at Innovative Technology Development Group and we are thoroughly impressed with the entire team’s dedication to the success of our project. This was our first and largest project and David Williamson (“Dave”), who came via a referral, really respected our budget and timeline. Given Dave’s extensive experience and ITDG’s resources, they proposed a “design build”. Our project was an adaptive reuse of a hotel into a senior living community.

Dave and his team worked tirelessly to honor the timeline Dave wanted to keep. The ITDG team demonstrated tremendous tenacity and hard work, and pulled through for us, despite last minute scope changes. In the end, Dave and the ITDG team finished, and we received our certificate of occupancy, within the proposed budget.
Even fourteen months after receiving our certificate of occupancy, and what we are most impressed by, is Dave’s commitment to supporting our building with his expertise, and solutions to problems as they arise. Dave and the ITDG team are dedicated to solving problems and creating value for their clients, for which we are very grateful.
While we completed the overall conversion last year, we continue to work with Hummingbird Senior Resort to make further improvements and accommodate additional changes as requested.
